In the organizer's words:

Difficult times call for drastic measures. For example, a trip to the cabaret. For all those who are not yet in the mood for resignation, want to laugh properly again or think that their partner finally needs to get out the door, there is the brand new program by humour professionals Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske. The two cabaret artists from Berlin's DISTEL offer sharp political satire that is always controversial and on the verge of being banned from their profession, thus opposing general arbitrariness and increasing freedom to have fun. Because the situation is clear: satire must finally become more absurd than reality again!

To this end, they dig up a few more villages in order to offer future generations a secure supply of the best charcoal for the German quality pig, invite the dream ship with Captain Silbereisen to go ashore in the Crimea and duly register a joint venture for cannabis cultivation.

The audience can expect a furious afternoon of cabaret with a well overdosed spiciness. With lightness and sharp humor, the show achieves what is often difficult in times of war and climate crisis: to talk about really relevant things, loosely based on Friedrich Merz: What is a Ukrainian child in a minefield against a German workplace?
