Double bassist, composer, singer and orchestra leader - the musical life of the French old master Henri Texier has many facets. One of these was his intensive involvement with the indigenous population of America, to whom he dedicated a trilogy of albums. In the Elbphilharmonie, the Henri Texier Septet plays the profound music of "An Indian's Life".
