Henry And The Waiter has been active as an artist since 2017 and has already achieved impressive success in this comparatively short time . With over 130 million streams and over 520k monthly listeners on Spotify alone, he has built up a remarkable following. The artist, Henrik Steigerwald, hails from Frankfurt, graduated from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2023 with a degree in law, and is proficient on several instruments, with a focus on singing accompanied by his guitar. His roots are in Erfurt, where he gained his first stage experience in various bands in his youth and learned to play instruments such as saxophone, guitar and electric bass. After graduating from high school, Henry moved back to Frankfurt am Main.

His extraordinary singing voice and his desire to compose his own music and write lyrics finally led the now 29-year-old artist to his own project "Henry And The Waiter". His music is a successful mixture of pop and indie pop, combined with vintage guitars, smooth keyboard sounds, electronic beats and energetic, melancholy lyrics. The music expresses thoughtfulness, but at the same time conveys courage and hope.

His new single "You and I" is a fresh, upbeat song. This emotional journey through love and loss tells of broken promises and the pursuit of a new beginning.
