In the organizer's words:

She stands next to us on the bus and buys bread in the same store. A woman like any other - and yet she carries worlds within her. Her story usually remains unheard: that of the mother who loses her son; the woman who survives violence; the lover who frees herself; the woman who laughs even though she has long been broken.

How much strangeness does a woman bear who adapts? And when does the revolt begin - in her, in us, in the system? "Herhangi bir Kadın - Some Woman" brings together their voices - fragmentary, contradictory, truthful. On the eve of International Women's Day 2026, the theater group of the Migrant Women's Association Dortmund e. V. brings texts by Dario Fo and Franca Rame to the stage. Director Füsun Demirel has chosen a new, contemporary form for this: a collage of monologues about alienation and resistance, about female bodies in capitalism, about survival in patriarchy. The result is a chorus of memory, inspired by real women's fates between pain, courage and dignity.
