Berlin-Kreuzberg, 1989: Frank Lehmann is about to turn 30 and leads a seemingly quiet life behind the bar in a Kreuzberg pub. But West Berlin in the shadow of the Wall knows no quiet times. Unexpected love, a visit from his parents, a friend on the verge of madness - and finally the Wall falls. The cult novel by Sven Regener, made famous by the film adaptation by Leander Haußmann, continues to inspire with its wit, quirky characters and the special atmosphere of Berlin nightlife.
