Hexenberg Ensemble: Hamlet

Curtain up for the most famous of all theater dramas: Shakespeare's Hamlet. Because this classic must not be missing from the Hexenberg Ensemble's repertoire. This time, Peter Kaempfe and Gabriele Blum have adapted the time-honored master's infamous tragedy for three people in eleven roles. Everyone has to play everyone and so it becomes a lively ménage-à-trois with Carsta Marcellini, Michael Schwager and Vlad Chiriac at the court of Helsingør. There is a method to this madness: happiness and misfortune, humor and seriousness as well as love and hate collide and offer a brilliant rollercoaster of emotions.

The Hexenberg Ensemble relies on its fast-paced playfulness and the power of Shakespeare's images. 90 minutes of concentration on the dazzling Danish prince in the realm of doubt. This is our Hamlet. No question about it.
