At hidden shakespeare, every show is a premiere! The ensemble has created its very own art form from the genre of improvisation. The six artists in the troupe have been flying the flag for this wild form of theater with great success since 1993.

How does it work? The audience provides cues that are implemented without a script, but with 1000 ideas: spontaneous, quick-witted, relentlessly live. This results in soap operas, thrillers, heartbreaking dramas, short film scenes, songs, stories and poems, fairy tales and even performance art. After appearances at the Federal President's Palace in Bellevue and guest performances all over Europe, Africa, America and the Caribbean, the heroes of improv theater return to the Schmidt Theater again and again and, as always, show skill, will and a lot of wit. An evening with hidden shakespeare is unique. If you don't believe it, you're welcome to come back again and again!
