Highlights aus dem Grand Egyptian Museum in Kairo - Mehr als Artefakte: Ägyptische Objekte erzählen ihre Geschichte
In the organizer's words:
The Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest archaeological museums in the world and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Pyramids of Giza. It houses an impressive collection of artifacts from Ancient Egypt, including the complete treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, which are being displayed together for the first time.
In this interactive lecture series, Egyptologists will present their favorite objects from the newly opened galleries of the GEM. The series is aimed at a broad audience and offers a 45-minute journey through spectacular, extraordinary, and previously unseen artifacts in each session. Each session will be followed by an open Q&A, during which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the objects that particularly interest them.
