Hildegard Knef was an actress, singer, author - and much more than that!

She was a projection screen, a scandalized protagonist, a pioneer and a fighter. She broke with expectations and shaped a unique style.

"HILDE" is an artistic tribute to this personality - without imitating her performance or playing her most famous songs on a continuous loop. The artistic team explores Hildegard Knef's life through acting and music.

The artistic projects of Olga Seehafer and Jakob Fischer have received grants and project funding from national and international foundations (e.g. Fonds Darstellende Künste, Bundesstiftung Initiative Musik, Kulturbehörde der Stadt Hamburg, Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds). Jannis Kaffka is an improv musician and performer, composer and lecturer in songwriting at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

HILDE is supported by the district of Pinneberg, the foundation of the Stadtsparkasse Wedel, the Amschler Kulturstiftung and Die Neue Apotheke - Raum für Alles e.V. in Wedel.
