Everywhere At Home
HISS have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles, traveling first and third class,
on special trains and on soul-sellers. They performed in pubs and churches, in halls and dives, at weddings and funerals.

They played wild tunes and thoughtful ballads all over the world. They caroused in Zaragoza, partied in Fort Worth, and fought in Casablanca. They slept in grand hotels and flophouses, in hammocks and waterbeds, on down and on straw.
They quarreled and made up, believed themselves lost, but even in foreign lands they always found their way back home and to themselves.

Today, after 2798 concerts, 9 records and countless awards, their bold mixture of waltz and blues, folk and ska, polka and roll still delights fans and the feuilleton.

HISS' music is still fresh, their performances are still full of power and their lyrics are a declaration of love for humor and life.
