Smutjes Landgang - shopping tour through the Hobenköök market hall, city tour through the Speicherstadt and cooking together with the Hobenköök chefs.

The Hobenköök market hall: It's Saturday morning, 10 o'clock.

Hobenköök has only just opened its doors when you are already standing in the large market hall and getting an exclusive insight into the hustle and bustle of Hobenköök. Here you will find over 1,500 high-quality products from over 200 producers. Most of them from the region and the north. At Hamburg's most regional cooking course, you can shop, cook and ask all your questions together with a small group of culinary enthusiasts. Enjoy a coffee or tea and then we'll set off on an enjoyable discovery tour...

Together with one of our chefs, you will get to know the products and producers in detail and be served a tasty insider tip or two. Equipped with shopping baskets, you will walk through the market hall together and buy the ingredients that you will later use to prepare tasty dishes. Depending on what the season has to offer, a dish can also be, for example, the North German classic "Hamburger Pannfisch, mit körniger Senfsoße und Stampfkartoffeln". One thing is for sure: it will be really tasty and varied!

But before the aprons are thrown over and the cooking spoons are swung, you will go on a discovery tour through Hamburg's Speicherstadt with the "City Slickers". Your guide will take you to places off the beaten track and show you surprising sides of this historic district.

After so much entertaining and exciting information, your stomach is rumbling and you could do with a good meal? Perfect!

Your guide will accompany you to the Hobenköök Cooking School, where your chef will be waiting for you with your purchases from the morning. And then it's off to our cooking course. Together you will work with the market-fresh ingredients and receive professional guidance: Including tricks of the trade, product knowledge and tips on preparation.

And then it's time to eat! You've earned it. We wish you a good appetite and hope you had as much fun as we did!

The tour ends at 3 pm, all drinks are included during the cooking course (water, soft drinks, beer, wine & coffee).
