What can you expect? A get-together and creative 4-course meal with local food producers - eat smart!
We'll learn about the people, products and solutions from the region. We discuss, listen and ask questions. In between, we'll take two culinary breaks and enjoy the food together. The event will be hosted by journalist Dorothea Heintze and will also feature NDR chef and Hobenköök chef Thomas Sampl.
About the producers:
Samova - quality and sustainability by conviction
Experience modern tea culture with samova. Founded out of a passion for tea and herbal specialties, our company has stood for new taste experiences made from the best organic raw materials, environmentally friendly packaging, award-winning design and extraordinary events since 2002.
1001 Spices - rocket launch to gastro favorite
The story of 1001 Gewürze is both fascinating and incredible: what began with a recipe request from Brigitte magazine went from the first online store to star gastronomy and today's success. Spices on a new level from our own manufactory.
Topic of the evening:
The concentrated plant power fits this duo more than well: the founders Esin (from Samova Tee) and Katharina (from 1001 Gewürze) are not only good friends, their products also harmonize well together! What sounds a little unusual at first, tea and spices, is a great match, even apart from classic spiced tea. This is not least thanks to their high standards of quality and sustainability, which can be found in both ranges, from classic to refreshingly new variations. Things get really interesting with the coordinated product ranges. For example, you can conjure up a chocolatey, fruity pastry at teatime with spice cookies from 1001 spices and drink the matching tea from samova. Or spice up your barbecue in summer and drink Fruity Garden with it? ;) So this evening is all about natural products, organic certification, cooperations and so on and so forth.
The menu will be announced a few weeks in advance.
