Höfchen Opening Party @ Kontext

On Saturday, August 8, 2026, “Höfchen” will open its doors—a new event series launching at a venue that has made cultural history in Wiesbaden: the former Kontext cultural center. Greats such as KRS-One, Afrika Bambaataa, Dead Prez, and Lee Scratch Perry once performed here. It’s a space for art, music, and connection that we’d like to bring back to life.

“Höfchen im Kontext” represents a different approach: electronic music—house, tech house, deep house, dark techno—in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. No commercial formats, no mass events. Free admission, featuring DJs from the former Freud-Frankfurt scene and the Wiesbaden house and techno scene.
