Höhr-Grenzhausen fires ceramics

Experience ceramics in the UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art

On Easter Monday, Höhr-Grenzhausen will once again be all about fire, clay and living craftsmanship. Numerous ceramics workshops, studios, galleries and stores will open their doors and invite visitors to experience ceramics up close at the traditional "Höhr-Grenzhausen fires ceramics" event.

Höhr-Grenzhausen is not only known as a pottery town, but has also recently become an official UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art. This title underlines the town's international importance as a center of ceramic culture, where centuries-old tradition meets contemporary design.

Throughout the day, visitors can watch ceramists at work, engage in conversation, discover techniques and purchase unique pieces of utility ceramics, art objects, jewelry and garden ceramics. A free ceramics shuttle bus connects the various stations and makes exploring particularly relaxed.

The Westerwald Ceramics Museum is also participating with Free admission and special offers. The program is complemented by gastronomy and an open, lively atmosphere that combines art, craftsmanship and encounters.

A day for everyone who is enthusiastic about ceramics, design, craftsmanship and cultural diversity - in the heart of a city that is known worldwide for its ceramic identity.
