British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone specializes in heartbreaking love songs. Those to which you can let all your emotions come to life and completely surrender to your own pain for a short time. The British singer's artistic journey began at home in Lincolnshire, where she had her first musical experiences with violin and piano lessons. It quickly became clear that Holly was not only very talented in this area, but also had a knack for profound lyrics that gave her art a poetic facet - a recipe for success, as her first releases proved. The debut single "Deep End" at the beginning of 2020 marked the start of a journey that has since included the acclaimed debut EP "Falling Asleep At The Wheel", the debut album "Paint My Bedroom Black" (2023) and top-class features with Sam Fender, among others. Holly Humberstone's sound can be found in the dark indie, alternative and synth-pop genres and is reminiscent of genre greats such as Haim, Girl in Red and Phoebe Bridgers. The singer-songwriter spent the time after her debut album supporting Taylor Swift at London's Wembley Stadium, among other things, until she recently returned musically with new music and the single "Die Happy". "Die Happy" comes with the typical melancholy, pregnant, meaningful mood, over which Holly lays the, as always, deeply personal and yet universally applicable lyrics in a breathy voice. The song sounds like the soundtrack to a dark fairy tale and fits organically into the Brit's discography to date. The beginning of a new chapter for Holly Humberstone - who, after touring Australia this winter as a support act for Sam Fender, will also be embarking on her own tour next year. On February 10 and 11 next year, the Brit will finally be coming back to Germany for two dates.
