Holly Macve explores a dreamlike, pictorial world in her songs. Her delicate voice creates warmth and transcendence, evoking memories of 1950s US films from a North America that no longer exists. She describes her latest album as her most honest work to date, on which she sings about themes such as abuse, existential angst, the making and unmaking of romantic relationships and looks at life through the eyes of a melancholy but hopeful dreamer. // Hyunhye (Angela) Seo explores experimental compositions and sounds, creating deep, turbulent soundscapes drawn from experimental noise, modern classical, avant-garde jazz and ambient territories through ecstatic piano improvisations, dynamic percussion and cavernous acoustic treatments.
