„HOT & COOL“ – Klezmer- und Tangomusik

The ensemble "Hot & Cool" is primarily dedicated to klezmer and tango music. Both musical styles, although fundamentally different at first glance, share a wide emotional range. From deeply sad to joyfully excited, from wildly dancing to dreamily relaxed - the different moods of a human life are reflected in this music. In addition to traditional music, pieces by well-known composers such as Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla and others can be heard.

The quintet has reformed. It now consists of: Bernhard von der Goltz (guitar and arrangements), Laura von der Goltz (violin), Claudia von der Goltz (vocals and moderation), Cornelius Wünsch (saxophone), Philipp Hagemann (violoncello).

With the piece "Miserlou", the group "Hot and Cool" demonstrates its enormous musical expressive possibilities and transports the audience to the world of the Orient. The song sings of the longing for a beautiful oriental dancer called Miserlou and not only the rhythm, but also the melody of the song has a very mysterious and oriental feel.

The variety of the music is astonishing.
