Since the six band members of HOTEL RIMINI came together on the outskirts of Leipzig, they have been working on German-language music - somewhere between Isolation Berlin, Hildegard Knef and The Velvet Underground.

The extremely charming and sophisticated sextet HOTEL RIMINI released an excellent debut album between indie pop and chanson in the fall of 2023 with "Allein unter Möbeln".

No wonder, because here electric guitar, double bass, drums, Casio and effects devices meet cello, violin, horn, piano and acoustic guitar - we have rarely heard more exciting instrumentation, more beautiful music in the flourishing young German singer-songwriter scene! Julius Forster is a gifted lyricist, frontman and singer who, despite the quality of the band, is impossible to ignore - a fresh observer and excellent lyricist with a calm and sharp eye for love and everyday life. The young HOTEL RIMINI, right at the forefront of the German pop scene, are now coming to JuZ Cadillac Oldenburg at the invitation of Kulturetage as part of STURM & KLANG in late summer 24. We are very much looking forward to: Julius Forster, Paul Pötsch (Trümmer), Valentin Link (KUF), Jakob Dinkelacker (Fabian Simon & The Moon Machine), Annegret Enderle and Paula Schieferecke.
