The Austrian Musicbanda Franui adapts and recomposes the greatest operetta hits from the period between 1900 and 1935. The musical theater is based on Joseph Roth's novel about a world that came apart at the seams with the First World War. Stranded existences, dubious profiteers, real and supposed artists cavort in the Hotel Savoy. Together they face an uncertain future. They are all waiting for the arrival of hotel owner and billionaire Bloomfield from America. First and foremost the war returnee Gabriel Dan.
