House and techno in Germany - an index of independent labels

The Independent-Label Index is a constantly growing online archive of electronic music labels, which was created by Patrick Wendtland's master's thesis and in cooperation with Callshop Radio. The chronological overview shows the location-dependent and musical diversity of house and techno music and its historical development within Germany.

To mark the official launch of this website, the project will be presented together with Callshop Radio at the Filmwerkstatt in Düsseldorf on June 21, 2024. In addition to discussions with protagonists of the active scene and various musical contributions, some of the project's process steps will also be exhibited on this day.
