In her colorful performance, South African Robyn Orlin sheds light on the colonial history of the Okiep region in South Africa - once a mining area, today a symbol of oppression and new beginnings. Fiction meets reality, protest meets poetry. Five dancers from the Garage Dance Ensemble and the musical duo uKhoiKhoi combine dance, music and storytelling to create a political and personal awakening. The message is clear and resonates: We all have the right to flourish.
