There are names that immediately arouse certain expectations and ideas. Howard Carpendale is one such name. He is a singer, composer, entertainer and has been one of the most successful German artists for decades. On May 24, 2024, he will make a guest appearance at the LANXESS arena.
Over 50 million records sold, platinum and gold records, real evergreens, three impressive milestones with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the legendary Abbey Road Studios, numerous awards for his life's work and sold-out tours. Like most recently his large-scale tour "The Show of My Life," which once again proved his success and made it very clear that his story is far from over. Of course, for an artist with such a long career, every new project raises the question of how long you can and want to keep doing this. But Howard is currently so full of beans that he is already back in the studio working on new songs and also wants to go on a big live tour again in 2024.
"A Carpendale concert is simply the opposite of what you expect," Howard tells us, and that he doesn't like to give the audience only what they expect. So it is above all his remarkable personality that makes a concert an intense experience. Anyone who asks him if he has a song list for the concerts only earns a weary smile. When he gets going, he has so much more than that, not wanting to merely entertain, but to truly touch, move and stay. Together with his band and the audience every night to create something that is true, a feeling of real connection.
