Her art combines humor and sensuality with social criticism and feminism - the works of Lebanese artist Huguette Caland can currently be seen in the exhibition A LIFE IN A FEW LINES at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg. Colorful paintings, delicate drawings, sculptures and textiles reflect the rebellious, life-affirming attitude of the artist, who questions conventions surrounding beauty, desire and female identity.
