One man. One woman. One separation. Two paths that cross and separate again and again. And yet: "The Best Is Yet to Come". Inspired by Nina Simone and Frank Sinatra, director Ivo Van Hove tells of the search for a free society and the validity of the American Dream. Based on the small town of Watertown, the evening deals with freedom, tolerance and the future of America. The meeting of actor Mark Waschke and musical star Aisata Blackman creates an evening of musical theater between pop, politics and great emotion.
