Will Romnja manage to become a superstar in Vienna? How is it that the intellectual only discovers pride in his old "homeland" in Austria? And how does the narrator, who jumps back and forth between worlds before finally arriving in Berlin, fare?
In her first solo show, actress Vidina Popov interweaves interviews, documentaries and encounters to create a fast-paced, entertaining musical exploration of the concept of "home": asking about its loss, the clichés associated with it and the experiences of arriving in a new space.
With biting humor, she shows how deceptive assumptions about others and oneself can be and exposes common mechanisms.
