Freely adapted from the picture book "Eltern richtig erziehen" by Katharina Grossmann-Hensel.

A production for deaf and hearing people aged 5 and over.

Your parents just don't do what you want? And you think about it: Why is that? Then you've come to the right place! We'll work with you on a parenting concept that won't require you to read thousands of guidebooks and won't try your patience unnecessarily. Our parents are now very well educated. If you want your parents to do what you tell them to do - for example, to always have enough sweets and toys - then come along and reinvent your parents' upbringing with us!

Ich will das so! plays with the topic of parenting from a child's perspective and uses humor to create a world in which children direct, control and shape what happens. At the same time, Ich will das so! is a theater experience with spoken and sign language (DGS), in which multilingualism becomes an adventure.

Leute wie die are a performance collective in which deaf and hearing artists work together on an equal footing. In their works, they interweave sign language and spoken language and artistically explore the potential of this connection. The pieces can be experienced by a deaf and hearing audience together.
