In the organizer's words:

ILJA's RICHTER have been dedicated to the rock and pop songs of the seventies since 1999 and cover them authentically and very close to the original. Their performances with stars of the era such as CHRIS NORMAN, SUZIE QUATRO, JOHN KINCADE; GUILDO HORN and, above all, THE SWEET on Carnival Sunday 2004 were legendary. In 2019, ILJA's RICHTER played one of their legendary carnival concerts again for the first time after a five-year break. The concept remained unchanged: Rock and pop songs from the seventies.
The band has been bringing the BORA in Duisburg to the boil on Carnival Sundays ever since.

In 2026, the band led by singer STEFAN WERNER (All Star Band, Typhoon) will once again heat up the audience with songs by Sweet, Queen, Uriah Heep and Pink Floyd, turning the evening into a real seventies experience.
