Knockout drops on the Reeperbahn, burglars on the run, arsonists in residential areas, speeding drivers and cases of domestic violence: for the second time, the ARD documentary series "Nachtstreife" follows police officers in Hamburg who are confronted with new challenges every night. To mark the start of the new season, NDR is inviting viewers to an exclusive preview at Bahnhof Pauli on Hamburg's Spielbudenplatz on Monday, February 2. Tickets for the screening are not available to the general public and will be sold exclusively by lottery. If you would like to attend the event, you can take part in the lotteries at ndr.de/preview until January 26 at 12:00 noon.

The new season of "Nachtstreife" provides exclusive insights into the everyday lives of Hamburg police officers. The camera accompanies the officers in a purely documentary style and then lets them have their say. The officers reflect on the events they experienced, explain their decisions and talk openly about the thoughts and feelings that accompanied them in the respective situations. They include police officers from the traditional Davidwache in St. Pauli, from Altona, Hamm and Rahlstedt as well as from the Criminal Investigation Department (KDD). A premiere in the new season: for the first time, the "Dienstgruppe Autoposer" of the Hamburg Traffic Directorate III will be part of the "night patrol".

From Wednesday, February 4, the second NDR season of "Nachtstreife" will be available in the ARD media library.
