In the organizer's words:
The "city within the city" built by insurer Gerling in the pre-war and post-war years has been given a facelift: exclusive apartments, offices and hotels have found their way into the sometimes spectacular buildings. The round building, the horseshoe building and the high-rise are still or once again the eye-catchers in the district. We take a look at the entire complex, cross the piazza, look at the new buildings that have been added and the investors' plans. In the hotel lobby in the rotunda, we come across original furnishings from the former Gerling ticket hall. And last but not least, we will be talking about the personalities Hans Gerling and Arno Breker.
