A hotel that is short of guests tries to fill its beds with a competition and thus appear attractive to those willing to pay. A wide variety of people follow the winner's call to the Grüne Nelke, make themselves at home in the hotel and make the hotel staff break out in a sweat. Even the registration for the rooms causes a lot of confusion, as not all guests match the photo on their ID card or even decide for themselves how their identity should be established.

The homeless person meets a glittering drag queen, two old friends who now lead very different lives find each other again and the curious guest with the camera keeps making connections by taking photos of special moments.
