Even in their childhood on the Greek islands, the taciturn Jacques and the extroverted Enzo share a love of the sea. 20 years later, Enzo holds the title of world champion in deep-sea diving without oxygen. Jacques also dives professionally, but in the service of science. He has also recently met and fallen in love with Johana, an insurance agent from New York. Now Enzo challenges his friend to a diving competition off the coast of Sicily.
