IMAGINE! 2025 | Land in Sicht! - Festivalabschluss mit Sommerfest und Offener Bühne

In the organizer's words:

As part of IMAGINE! 2nd International Festival for Narrative Art in Chemnitz, Dresden & Leipzig

We are celebrating the end of our festival with a big late summer party in the art garden of the Budde House in Leipzig. There will be hands-on activities, music and good food - and of course lots of stories!

PROGRAMME

Part 1: Late summer storytelling festival in the garden of the Budde House

16:00 - 18:30: All aboard?

Craft, play and hands-on activities in the grounds of the Budde House. Invent a story, create a story map, unfold a whole world.

  • Participants: Members of ERZÄHLRAUM e.V.

16:15 - 16:45: We set sail!

In the garden of the Budde House, 3 mini storytelling programs await all ears big and small.

  • Storytelling: Jeeva Raghunath, Vikram Sridhar & Aparna Jaishankar (IND)
  • In English spoken language with translation option (no English language skills required to understand).

17:00 - 17:40: We unearth a treasure.

Mini workshops with Jeeva, Aparna & Vikram for anyone interested. The three of them will bring us some of their most beautiful storytelling treasures and show us how easily we can share a story ourselves.

  • Workshop leaders: Jeeva Raghunath, Vikram Sridhar & Aparna Jaishankar (IND)
  • In English spoken language with translation option.

17:45-18:30: We take the stage!

There is room for you and your stories on this open stage. Whether it's an experience you've brought with you, a long-kept secret or a moment you've just found. There'll be a bit of music too.

  • Moderation: Patrick Niegsch & Maria Carmela Marinelli

Part 2: Final storytelling evening

19:00 - 21:30: Land in sight!

Let's celebrate together! For 22 days we shared stories in 3 cities, met on new paths and discovered unknown perspectives. At the end, we will once again enter the maps of the invisible together, unfold the untold and hear about dreams that can come true.

Café Terra will provide refreshments, the KüKo Choir Leipzig will provide musical accompaniment - and perhaps we will spin a story or two together beyond the horizon.

  • Storytelling: Jeeva Raghunath (IND), Vikram Sridhar (IND), Aparna Jaishankar (IND), Maria Carmela Marinelli (DE/IT) & Patrick Niegsch (DE)
  • Music: Küko Choir
  • Narrated in German and English spoken language.

Tickets: Payment is made into the hat at the end of the day. The rule is: Give what you can!
