The longing for a place of perfection and harmony is deeply rooted in us. In our digitalized and urbanized world, where people spend more time in front of screens than in nature, this Eden seems more distant than ever. But can we find this place again with the help of modern technology?
In his master's thesis "/Imagine Eden", Lennart Gruensel, a master's graduate in Photographic Studies at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, embarks on a journey to find this paradise that was thought to be lost. Between concrete deserts and digital landscapes, he and his companion Argos, an advanced artificial intelligence, explore the relationship between humans, nature and technology. On their journey, they create visionary images that invite reflection.
