Immolation have been one of the defining bands in death metal since the late 80s - but always with their own approach.
Instead of relying on pure speed, their sound thrives on density, tension and an almost oppressive atmosphere. Unusual riffs, shifted structures and a permanent restlessness run through the entire material.
Over the years, the band has constantly evolved without losing its identity. The music remains dark, complex and consistently unadapted.
Live this means: no smoothly ironed set, but a sound that takes up space and builds up rather than simply running through.
