Immortal Onion: a mixture of nu-jazz, post-rock and modern electronica.

Immortal Onion are one of the outstanding figureheads of the Polish music scene. Founded as a trio in Gdańsk by Wojtek Warmijak (drums), Tomir Śpiołek (piano, synthesizer) and Ziemowit Klimek (double bass, synthesizer), they combine jazz, electronica, minimal, fusion prog rock and occasionally metal in their music with such virtuosity that they were immediately awarded the Jazz Phonographic Debut Award in their home country of Poland.

After two highly acclaimed albums "Ocelot of Salvation" (2017) and "XD [Experience Design]" (2020), they released their third album "Screens" in 2022, which was created on the initiative of saxophonist Michał Jan Ciesielski, who was not only involved in the compositions but also took over the production.

The band's unmistakable sound is the result of stylistic diversity and the skillful combination of rhythmically complex, energetic riffs with minimalist, transversal beats and lyrical themes. Immortal Onion let their electrified jazz float with instrumental playfulness over wide synth pads, seamlessly switching to exciting acoustic parts and always making their rhythmically complex music sound damn simple and just damn beautiful.
