Something always comes up ... anything else would be bad. Because they haven't prepared for anything. RatzFatz take to the stage with unshakeable optimism. They only know that they are playing - not what they are playing. Inspired by the ideas of the audience, the RatzFatzler trust the moment - whatever comes next. Four actors, one musician - no script, but a thousand ideas.

Melodramatic, absurd? Poetry, song, dance? Cartoon or science fiction? It could turn out like this. But it doesn't have to, because every evening is unique. Nothing is rehearsed and nothing is agreed. All the RatzFatzler need is the "Who, Where, What?". And that's up to the audience.

The further course of events is completely open, with a dynamic developing as the ideas of the audience and actors change, blurring the boundaries between stage and auditorium. What happens next is written in the stars...

Improvisational theater is "folk theater" in the best sense of the word, with roots going back to early forms of theater such as ballads, jugglers and comedia dell arte. RatzFatz.de was founded in 2000 and is now known for its many performances at home and abroad.
