In the organizer's words:

Get Better at Talking to Anyone & Creative Thinking with Improv

Join our beginner-friendly improv course and learn the basics of improv while building confidence, spontaneity, and comfort in social interactions. Grow in a supportive small-group setting with guidance from two experienced instructors. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity!

What Is Improv?
Improv is all about listening, accepting, and building on others’ ideas through the principle of “Yes, and...”. It’s a playful way to boost spontaneity, collaboration, and emotional connection, creating believable and engaging scenes on the spot.

Through imagination and mime, improvisers bring invisible worlds to life while keeping the energy flowing. But most importantly? It’s fun! Improv strengthens communication, creativity, confidence, teamwork, and adaptability—skills that translate to everyday life.

Meet Your Teachers: Lorenz von Römer & Stéphane Piette
We’re two engineers who fell in love with improv six years ago—and never looked back. Fascinated by how improv transforms communication, creativity, and confidence, we’ve been teaching and performing ever since.

With years of experience on stage and in the classroom, we’ve brought improv to audiences across Berlin and internationally in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. In 2023, we founded Check la Lage, a monthly show bringing together improvisers from different companies, and were key members of Liber, a long-standing French-German improv company in Berlin.

Our approach combines simple techniques with playful exercises to help you think on your feet, feel more comfortable talking to people, and build real confidence. Whether you want to come out of your shell, improve your communication skills, or just have fun, improv is the perfect place to start.
