About the Teachers

This workshop is led by Lorenz von Römer and Stéphane Piette, two passionate engineers who discovered improv together six years ago-and never looked back. Fascinated by how improv transforms communication, creativity, and confidence in both personal and professional life, they've been teaching and performing ever since.

With years of experience on stage and in the classroom, they've brought improv to audiences across Berlin and internationally, performing in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. In 2023, they founded Check la Lage, a monthly show that unites improvisers from different companies, and were key players, teachers, and coordinators for Liber, a long-standing French-German improv company in Berlin.Their approach blends technical precision with playful spontaneity, making improv accessible and impactful for everyone-whether you're looking to boost your public speaking, connect more authentically, or simply have fun.
