ImproVision I: Music meets Theatre

Stories are sources of magic that never run dry. On the stage of improvisational theater, there are no limits to the imagination. Countless adventures, life situations and touching moments await the performers and the audience. All the stories are already there, they just have to be grasped by the actors. This form of theater encourages and challenges the players' self-confidence in their own abilities in interaction with others. It is an intense experience of constantly experiencing oneself and others anew and seemingly crossing one's own boundaries through play.

6 p.m. - Start with a workshop:
To be able to present a successful scene on stage, you need some acting basics. Together we will venture a little insight here. After one hour and a break of 30 minutes, we continue...
19.30 - Performance

Together with pianist and silent film improviser Ashley Hribar(The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, Buster Keaton Alive) , the "Improkokken" open the 2026 ImproVision series at Villa Seligmann: in four events from March to November, the passion for musical improvisation continues to burn with a firework of ideas and inspiration. After the 2024 and 2025 pocket festivals, which focused on the unknown dimension of piano improvisation, the spark now jumps to other artistic genres and sensual experiences. With drama, dance, chocolate and light (speed), everything remains in motion and sharpens the "three senses of Villa Seligmann", hearing, seeing and tasting:
