Phileas Fogg, a daring gentleman, makes a risky bet in his London club: To circumnavigate the world in 80 days. Together with his servant Passepartout, he embarks on a fantastic adventure, always pursued by Inspector Fix, who tries to stop them at all costs. On steamboats, railroads and elephant backs, through the thickets of the metropolis and across all the oceans, they race against time...

In this dazzling spectacle full of poetry, Jules Verne tells of the feverish pursuit of success and poses central questions about our modern existence with lightness, wit and sophistication.

Since 2016, ENSEMBLE PERSONA has been presenting open-air experiences in the incomparable ambience of Nymphenburg Palace. Since 2021, the open-air format has been operating under the name SOMMER-FESTSPIELE SCHLOSS NYMPHENBURG. Let yourself be carried away into nights full of poetry.
