From September 16 to October 14, 2026, textile artist and biologist Julia Hühne-Simon will present her exhibition *In Verbindung* at the Kulturforum Wedel. Her textile and mixed-media works are inspired by the diversity of living things and organic processes. Using wool, silk, linen, or handmade paper made from mushrooms, she creates images, objects, and assemblages with organic forms and multi-layered structures. The works explore growth, transformation, and the interactions that shape natural systems.“In Verbindung” views nature as a living web in which everything is interconnected and invites visitors to reflect on their own role within this network of life.
