inselkonzert mit Axel Dörner und Simon Rose

In the organizer's words:

As part of the closing event of the photo exhibition "Sein und Werden" by Fotohaus Berlin, featuring photographs by Andrea Durán, Oded Wagenstein, and Doro Zinn, Axel Dörner and Simon Rose will perform as part of the inselkonzerte series.

Axel Dörner is one of the most unique voices in free improvisation. In the late 1990s, he developed a completely new language for the trumpet. Dörner's music defies conventional tonality and opens up spaces in which sound becomes a direct experience of matter, movement, and time.

Rose is an active baritone saxophonist with a fundamental interest in open-form improvisation. He performs regularly in various musical collaborations as well as a soloist and increasingly works in interdisciplinary artistic constellations with dancers, visual artists, and others.
