ISLANDS OF THE FUTURE 2024: Discover deceleration!
On Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., the cultural series ISLANDS OF THE FUTURE will celebrate its premiere in the International Art & Culture Quarter Schiffbauergasse. Once a year, the cultural sponsors of Schiffbauergasse will dedicate themselves experimentally, artistically, musically and performatively to a topic of the future. Under this year's motto "Discover Deceleration!", the T-Werk Potsdam, the Hans Otto Theater, the fabrik Potsdam, the Theaterschiff, the museum FLUXUS+ and the Waschhaus Potsdam present a diverse program in cooperation with the state capital of Potsdam and the Schiffbauergasse discovers slowness. Free admission.

Elevator is an open decks event where the focus is not on partying, but on exploring music. Local DJs are given the opportunity to play the music they like, regardless of their level of experience - free from genre restrictions or the requirement to wow the entire audience.
