Poetic salon with Ruthi Helbitz Cohen and Anna Hoffmann

The visual artist Ruthi Helbitz Cohen and the poet Anna Hoffmann have been friends for years, thousands of kilometers apart, as Ruthi Helbitz Cohen lives in Tel Aviv and Anna Hoffmann in Berlin. This evening is the first time they have presented themselves and their art to an audience together.

Ruthi Helbitz Cohen will talk about her installation "The book of Ruth" in the exhibition MeeresStern and Anna Hoffmann will bring poems.

Ruthi Helbitz Cohen and Anna Hoffmann are internationally successful. Ruthi's works can be found in museums and private collections in Israel, Europe and the United States. Anna has published numerous volumes of prose and poetry and is a frequent guest at international poetry festivals, most recently in Albania, Kosovo, Morocco, Iraq and Mexico. She also read at the poetry night in the INSELGALERIE in summer 2024.
