"Was braucht es für eine gerechte Modeindustrie?" - Interaktiver Vortrag von Eine Erde e.V. in Kooperation mit FEMNET e.V.
In the organizer's words:
Fashion is fun! At the same time, we know that clothing is not without its problems. Violations of human and labor rights, as well as environmental damage, go hand in hand with ever-changing trends. But why is that actually the case, and how can we contribute to a more equitable and sustainable fashion industry?
In this interactive talk with Marijke Mulder from FEMNET e.V., we at Eine Erde e.V. would like to discuss how the fashion industry can achieve a transformation that prioritizes people and the environment. What measures are needed, and what concrete steps can we take to support a just transition?
FEMNET is a women’s rights organization based in Bonn that has been working since 2007 to improve working conditions in the global textile industry through campaigns, educational initiatives, and counseling services. Marijke Mulder heads the education department at FEMNET (www.femnet.de).
An event organized by Eine Erde e.V. in cooperation with FEMNET e.V.
