From March 13 to 28, 2026, the International Bach Academy invites you to the International Bach Festival Stuttgart, the city's largest classical music festival and one of the most important Bach festivals in the world. Under the motto "Because we love Bach!", the festival combines deeply rooted musical tradition with contemporary interpretations, innovative formats and an impressive variety of international artists.

Following its successful premiere in 2025, the Bach Festival now takes place every year around Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday. Young talents meet renowned ensembles, historical performance practice encounters new perspectives and the whole of Stuttgart is transformed into a place of vibrant musical culture.

In addition to the major concerts, the Bach Festival offers a diverse supporting program: family events, discussion formats, church services, workshops, university presentations and thematic series such as "JSB Pass" or "Zur Sprache gebracht".

The entire city becomes a concert hall - from the Collegiate Church to the Liederhalle and the Old Palace.
