This workshop is an introduction to Animal Flow® and at the same time a conscious immersion in a modern, playful off-the-mat movement format that combines strength, mobility and flow.
Animal Flow® is a ground-based movement training that combines elements of yoga, functional training, capoeira and animal-inspired movements to improve strength, mobility, stability and coordination. In this workshop, you will get to know the basic principles and basic positions (e.g. Beast, Crab & Co.) and learn how to create flowing, creative sequences from individual movements.
Initially, the focus is not on "higher, faster, further", but on: Conscious movement and body control Mobility, stability and functional strength. The playful exploration of new movement possibilities. We work in a structured and mindful way, with enough space to feel, try out and integrate. A break gives time to exchange ideas and relax. The workshop is suitable both as a foretaste of a future Animal Flow course at Studio Ute Stephan and for anyone who is curious to get to know a new movement format and explore their body in a new way.
Basic physical fitness and enjoyment of movement are all you need to experience your body in a new way beyond classic asanas or other sporting activities with Animal Flow®.
