Poetry Night at Montag Bookstore

This isn’t a typical “slam”; it’s more like a reading stage where various hand-picked artists perform their own original works—and yet the audience becomes an active part of the evening.

The performers have up to what feels like 8 minutes to perform their pieces.

An evening like a box of wonders, where the spoken word meets the bookstore, deep meets funny, loud meets quiet, young meets old, and so much more.

Hosted by Zarah Weiß and Jakob Heitmann, who bring a lot of passion and a breath of fresh air to the event and, above all, see the Montag bookstore as a great venue for an evening like this.

The Montag bookstore is located at Pappelallee 25, 10435 Berlin, very close to the Eberswalder Straße subway station.

At our Box Offices, we operate on the principle: Everyone gives what they can, and those who can, are welcome to give more! Because we want our events to remain accessible to everyone, despite rising prices.

1. Our box office prices are guidelines.

2. Everyone pays what they can. No one has to justify their payment. Our staff at the entrance won’t ask questions if you pay less.

3. There’s a solidarity box at the entrance. If you can afford to give more, feel free to leave a small donation there for people who can’t afford as much—and to support culture.
