The popular folk festival in its 34th edition

The Irish Folk & Celtic Music Night has been an integral part of the music scene in Gladbeck for over three decades, and in 2026 the cultural office will once again be bringing traditional and modern sounds from Ireland and Scotland to the stage.

The duo "Stout" will open the evening with energetic reinterpretations of traditional songs, followed by "Skelpt", a Scottish band with many years of concert and festival experience, which relies on expressive voices and fine arrangements. The seven-piece formation "Ticket to Happiness", a folk rock band that scores with polyphonic singing, the full range of typical Scottish instruments and an impressive stage presence, will conclude the evening.

At the end of the evening, all the musicians come together for a joint session - a spontaneous interplay that surprises anew every year.
