Irmgard Knef - "Kindchen fahr ab" - Ein Abend für Köln

In the organizer's words:

Irmgard Knef - the likeable fictitious cabaret sister of the great Hildegard - behind whom the Berlin cabaret artist Ulrich Michael Heissig hides - has created her own evening especially for the Altenberger Hof, the Nippes community center.
Irmgard will present her audience with new, previously unknown chansons as well as popular highlights from her solo programs. Songs full of swing and jazz.
"Kindchen", her sound and lighting technician, only has to press the button, i.e. "go off", to transform the hall into a concert stage full of sound.
But the "Evening for Cologne" is not just a jazz chanson program:
The Knef sister repeatedly spills out hair-raising stories from her private sewing box and tells incredible anecdotes from an eventful life as an artist .
Stories of a career that went downhill for decades.
As a representative of "old Europe", she comments on current events and reports on all kinds of experiences as a well-traveled entertainer and on-board entertainer.
Irmgard - who began her career in old age over 20 years ago - is always open about her "blood relationship" to the world star:
She, too, is a fighter. Laconic and unsentimental.
